Hi Elizabeth, here are directions to put a frame on those doors! https://cherishedbliss.com/kitchen-hack-diy-shaker-style-cabinets/
Try with contact paper, it has many solid and print choices. When and if you want to change, use a blow dryer and peel.
Look for a trim that you like (Home Depot or Lowes) and make a picture frame out of the trim, attach with glue and finishing nails on each of the doors. Remove the hardware and fill in the holes (as well as the nail holes) with plastic wood. Paint the unit in a colour that you like and replace the hardware with something fancier/more contemporary/blingy.
Another option is to paint and stencil them.
NOTHING SAYS GLAM LIKE MIRRORED GLASS...FRAME WITH TRIM OF CHOICE, PAINT, INSERT GLASS, ADD KNOBS
I agree with the stenciling! Cheap and lots of drama! ...take off handles first and treat entire area as once piece of "art."
An old turned"new" trick is to choose a gloss paint in your color scheme buy a feather duster (or two) pour paint into a flat tray, lightly dip the tips of the feather duster into the paint and lightly touch the doors of the cabinet! Voila! Instant deco!
Paint them the color you want and add wall clings.
Me too!
If you want "glam" -- which I interpret as something a little sparkly -- purchase 2 ea. per door (so a total of 6) 2' square tiles of those glass backsplash tiles that are composed of smallish square/horizontal multi-colored tiles in whatever color composition you like. You can get them with adhesive backs. Thoroughly clean and sand the doors before applying. Center them on the doors, and frame out the rest of the doors. Add a simple, thin handle along the top piece of frame (horizontally) in whatever metal matches your other hardware.
Consider your floor. It is terracotta, and if you do not change it, your bath will never say "glam". Terracotta says many things, but not that :-).
I think mirrors are the best solution to add glam to any room.Mirror tiles can be clear or patterned. You can also purchase full length mirrors and stick them to door with adhesive.Think mirrors in dressing rooms of stores.Or haunt thrift stores to find hanging mirrors.Remove from frame and stick to doors. If you like the frames, then stain or paint them and leave mirror in them.Dont hang though. It is not glam that way.
