Spray vinegar in their path don’t like it along with other natural deterrence such as pepper, mint, bay leaves. Put along back of counters, along floor trim and in your cupboards
Jiffy brand cornmeal works well, a product called Terro from DIY stores-this is a liquid that you put drops of on the cardboard provided. Both work great, the ants take this back to the colonies and that will be the end of them.
Sprinkle with cinnamon....it will suffocate them when they breathe the powder and deter further infestations. No chemicals and safe around pets and children.....
I have used Terro which you put on cardboard. Last year I found that company also has a product for use outside that enclosed in a green plastic. You stick it in the ground near your house. I had NO ants last year. I bought some for use this year.
I would like to know how to get rid those pesty little sink/drain flies. I've tried baking soda and vinegar, drain cleaners and put plastic over the drains.

The key to ant control is remove their food source, then treat the outside of your house about 6 ft out and all over the foundation
