Should I grass or flag

I have had a pond for year's and nearly everyday there was something wrong l bought new filter box and a new pump and still had problems l lost my husband 12 months ago and l have given my fish to my best friend and I am left with a 3ft hole

    After bringing in fill dirt (yes, it's called fill dirt) as opposed to growing soil, to fill the hole, you can decide if you want grass or flagstone. Look at the up's and down's of both. Mowing vs weeds between the stone, will you use the area as a sitting area, etc. and who will be responsible for caring for it. Hiring a gardener to mow, etc. My sympathies for your loss.

    My sympathies go out to you and your family. I too am in a similar situation. I'd have to say that stone would be your best bet. As Sal mentioned, it all really depends how much maintenance will be required. Stone is very easy to maintain.
