Heck YES ! in the out side of the container I believe in bold words it sez kills everything. It is I believe a Monsanto product I have heard it was also used in the Vietnam war to kill the foliage But it was sprayed in huge zones and ended up on our military personnel it was called Agent Orange. = bad stuff. it has warnings in it to wear a face mask/ gloves n protective clothing.

  • it could, yes, you need to spray just on the weeds you want to get rid of.

Yes, there is always a posibility of unwanted drift damage with targeted applications.

Roundup isn't as bad as it used to be. Years ago, it was really potent and would kill everything it touched. Now, I generally have to spray a couple of times to kill off persistent weeds.

I've used it to kill the suckers that grow all around pin cherry trees without damaging the tree itself. You do need to be careful around other plants and flowers, but you can spray fairly close to them without damage (by close, I mean about 6" away). I also wouldn't use it in the garden around any foods.

I use the fine stream setting to just target weeds (thistle mostly in my yard from the neighbour ). If you want to get rid of weeds in your grass, don't use Roundup, but something that will kill just the broadleaf weeds and not the grass. If you do use it on your grass, expect about a 4-6" perimeter around the weed that will also die. It isn't a soil sterilizer, so even spraying the soil won't prevent you from planting later that growing season. Good luck!
