there are products for that. At house no. 2 many cracks showed up. It’s made for patching cement, grey in color and almost liquid in consistency.... gets to the bottom of the cracks. Comes in a cartridge like caulk does..available at most diy stores.
Add the Skim Coat.
Buy moleworms at the hardware store. Follow directions. Do not separate them. One application by a professional that I hired and they were gone. My whole yard was full of mole mounds.
