Should sucklents be brought inside in winter?

  • All depends on where you live. I am in Zone 9 in Southern CA and mine live outside year round.


    My friends in other areas where it gets really cold and snows, they bring them in their garage, barn, spare room over the winter.

    Zone 5 yes get them in.

    Succulents are an “in” plant, so if you bring containers inside for the winter, your home can only be enhanced by the plants. ☺️

    If it gets near freezing in your area then YES........

    I have quite a few succulents that did just fine outside as long as the temperature stays above 30 degrees. Most don't freeze easily if they get good sun during the day.

  • I'm in zone 9 so they come under the patio or get covered, just in case, Our winter was so mild this year my cherry tomato never died. It's as tall as the gazebo and still producing fruit!!
