the bedroom is easier as you just need to remove and replace the closet doors...Home Depot or Lowe’s have replacements to purchase. For the bathroom, I would tape the mirrors (one wall at a time) with duct tape, then try to pry the mirrors off. The tape should minimize the danger of shattering.

I guess it does feel like that! You can paint glass. Just go to your local paint store and get a primer that adheres to glass. You will need two coats. Then use a paint of your choice. You might want to save some of the mirror and put foam moulding around it (you can glue it in place) for a nice mirror in the bathroom. You can also wallpaper glass. Just use wallpaper glue on the glass even if the paper is prepasted. Roll the glue on the glass and put the paper on the paste. Do not put water on the paper. A heavy wallpaper such as grasscloth would be lovely. Good luck.

I too, would replace the sliding glass doors, unless you want to try wallpapering with the grass cloth, which is beautiful.

In the bathroom, to go cheap, I’d buy a pair of large matching frames (Goodwill, yard sales) and hang them with several small Command hooks. I’d then go a little crazy and buy fun frames at yard sales, leaving them empty, and hanging them all over the mirror. You could use a couple of them with wires or cloth-back to hang earrings for pizzaz. Multiple small hooks wouldn’t show but would hold weight, rather than the large ones, which would be obvious in the mirror.
