Hummingbirds eat nectar or sugar water. Boil 4 parts water to 1 part sugar. Cover and cool before putting in a feeder. Do not add red food coloring.
Sorry, I've never heard of a trizel seed. Hummingbirds do not eat seeds though, they only drink nectar. Here's an easy way you can make that yourself.
Directions for making safe hummingbird food:
Mix 1 part sugar with 4 parts water and bring to a boil to kill any bacteria or mold present
Cool and fill feeder
Extra sugar water may be stored in a refrigerator
Red dye should not be added.
