I am lookking for an idea to use nails in art. Like hammer & "Nails"

String art is beautiful and involes nail, string and hammer. Pinterest has some amazing ideas and suggestions.

Years ago I taught high school art and we did a project each year where we got a piece of wood (your choice of size) and got various sizes of nails and hammered them into the wood -- not fully into the wood -- at different heights and densities. You can also hammer different types of nails in a board in a design. Had my Cub Scouts do little ones (a hundred years ago) in the shape of simple flowers (for Mothers Day, of course). You could get pretty fancy if you are artsy.

I remember seeing some nails in a wood frame and then they used colored string or yarn and randomly strung it around the nails up & down, across & down till it fills up the nail length! Vintage look!

String art. Or you can actually make a picture using nails.
