Sad to say but you will probably have to use a vinegar and water solution or some other cleaners to clean off all the surfaces. But at least you've now removed the problem that caused the residue! Good Luck!
Wash with warm water and something that doesn't leave a soap residue. My go to first is always a vinegar/water solution.
Wash everything! Including the walls and ceiling. Everything is washable in one way or another. Vinegar and water in most cases will do the trick.
