Rustic shallow cabinet made to hide a 60" TV mounted over a fireplace
Buy a canvas print you love in a size that will cover the TV, then add an extra thickness of framing so it can be placed over the flatscreen. Most commercial canvas art is not very heavy so it might work well. I'm with you, I really dislike seeing the TV that is such a big part of that wall it is on!
Some people hang a painting over the screen. Others enclose it in a frame with shutters.

I had a built in cabinet that had hidden doors that folded out of the way when the tv was on. After a few years I noticed the doors were never closed. Now I just have a shelf that it sits on in the great room (time was it was called the tv room). It's just part of the furniture.
