Squeaky wood floors

I am replacing carpet in my bedroom and it currently has hardwood floors, the entry way into the rooms squeaks terribly. We put a few nails in it but it still squeaks. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated. thank you

baby powder. Sprinkle over area with squeak and sweep into the cracks as much as possible.
Sprinkle talcum powder in the cracks.
thank you everyone, at this point I have tried wd-40, graphite powder and talcum powder, still no luck
