Furniture Gliders- Do I remove the gliders in the back or the front?

I have gliders under my couch (4 corners) however after a few times I have noticed the couch is slowly moving backward. Should I remove the gliders in the back or the front? Or caddy corner, I do not want to remove all 4. Thanks

If you have the sliders on for easy moving when you clean you may want to try removing the o ea in the front so you can easily put them back on when you want to move the couch. If they are there just to protect the flooring and movement is t an issue try some rubber feet instead of sliders. They will not glide on the floor as easily and won’t damage the floor.

I would remove the back ones. Likely when you start to sit down you use the front of the sofa to "feel" you are ready to sit. That likely creates the most pressure on the back of the sofa and therefore results in the movement gradually each time the sofa is used. Try back first and see if that works, if not you can try the other way. I agree, lifting to get the sliders under the legs can be tiresome.
