How do you get rid of moles from your yard?
They are destroying my yard.
Hello. I did a bit of research on this very topic for a HomeTalker a couple weeks ago. I learned that if you place a garden size windmill near their nest, they will move out. Moles travel on their bellies. They cannot tolerate the vibrations given off by a windmill. I hope this information helps you. Best of luck to you.

Why would you want to remove them- they are very beneficial. They aerate the soil, and eat insects that feed on the roots of your plants. A small price to pay for the small piles of dirt they push up in the process!

When I moved to the country I thought it wouldn't be hard to get rid of them. Piece of cake. Wrong. I have used smoke bombs, bubble gum and the radio buried underground, and even hooked a hose up to my exhaust pipe. What finally worked was dog hair. Moles can't digest it. Go to a groomer and ask for the trimmings. Then open up the mole hill and deposit a hand full of hair. Recover with dirt and your done. Don't think this kills them, they just move on to your neighbors. Good luck....
