Gardening-should i leave my plants in pots or put them in ground?

should i leave my plants in pots and try to make a focal point in my garden - or actually put them in the ground ?

    If the plants are in the correct size pot to continue to thrive, you can "plant" them , still in their pots, in the ground. It gives you more freedom to decide if you like where you put them, etc. It's less stress on the plants too ....

    You can leave them in pots in the ground but, they won't grow much because they'll be root bound. Sometimes, the roots will break through and you may have a hard time getting them out of the ground if they've rooted into your soil. Also, depending on where you live, you may want to consider not putting them in the ground if there's any chance of frost and, it also depends on what kind of plants you have.....a lot to consider.

    depends on the plants. If you are talking about seasonal annuals, they like to spread out.. Perennials expand too need to be divided every few years..only if a plant likes to be root bound would I leave it in the pot

    ground-you can always dig some to bring in the house for winter if not hardy
