    Hi Purplekem,
There are tile grout pens that you can purchase at places like Lowes, Home Depot, local hardware stores, etc. if you only need to refresh the look. If you have issues with cracked or missing grout, that's a different issue. Click on the link below to read a step-by-step article to that will teach you how to fully repair that kind of grout problem. In either case, it's a good idea to seal the grout after you're finished because it will help it stay in better condition for a lot longer. Wishing you the best.

I'd clean them up and use grout sealer - comes in matte, semi-gloss, etc. Will keep it from getting stained, etc.

No offense meant, but I’d start with a determined grout scrub with toothbrush. I’m constantly embarrassed how dirty things are that I thought were clean. Grouts one.
Make a paste of Oxy Clean and water, brush it on the grout lines (only). Leave it for up to half an hour, scrub with toothpaste and rinse Several times.
Then there’s always bleach, but that’s another story.

Use baking soda and Dawn dishwashing detergent with some vinegar (white). You’ll be happy with the the results. Put all ingr into a bowl and make a paste-like substance. Grab an old toothbrush and let it sit for as long as possible, then scrub and done.

You're very welcome! I am telling ya, you're going to love how well it works. You'll be cleaning your bathtubs, sinks, and so much more. My Mum did this with everything when I was a child. I also remembered her using cheesecloth soaked in white vinegar. She would lay the cloth over the hard water stains on every faucet in our house. I kid you not. She let the cloth sit overnight and I the faucets along with the staining around them looked new and shiny.

After cleaning, you could stain or paint the grout. Just remember to seal whatever you do. It will make it easier to keep clean and protected.
