How to reuse old faded area rugs

    If they R in usable condition try making a carpet bag. They can be sewn by hand. Straps can be added...denim works great. Pockets can also be added. Pillows are also a possibility.

  • Depending on the condition of the fibers you might be able to paint them. Or just donate to an animal shelter

    I keep an old rug like this in my garage entrance into the house. Also at the bottom of my basement steps, and at the entrance to my shed. I keep one folded up in the closet to out on top of my nice rugs on snow days. Dog shelters also appreciate these old rugs, if washable.
