I would just put a glass over it and slide some newspaper underneath and take it outside and let it go. Or my girlfriend would smack it to death with a fly swatter or book, then call me to come clean it up. No idea what it is. Hopefully someone else does.

it's called a stink bug and they love gardens if it's in your garden be sure to spray it with something that wont hurt humans.. If it's not in the garden or near your food spray it with any poison bug spray you have on hand.

The best method I have found is to fill a spray bottle with a mixture of Dawn dish soap and water...spray the bug (make sure it get on their stomach) I just mix water/Dawn...don't measure....it works.
Stink bug. Whatever you do DO NOT,
hit it the odor is horrid, you'll be running for the hills. They like damp areas and search for water. Indoors they are usually found in laundry areas and bathrooms looking for water. I always used a mixture of vinegar and baking soda as it fried them and disarmed their stink mechanism defense as thats how they protect themselves.
That's a little ol stink bug. And you can squish em. It really isn't that bad lol

Looks like a stink bug, they have nothing on the market to get rid of these except for something like a bug zapper. Check with your local garden/hardware store.
Looks like a stink bug to me.
Most definitely a stink bug. We have put up with them for several years in our area and nothing much deters them. Our dog will eat them if we don't catch him first. They are truly obnoxious. If anyone know a "sure fire" remedy, I'd love if you would pass it on! Thanks.
They are known as stink bugs. Do not squash it! They live up to their name
It's a stink bug---- just pick them off and throw them out. They are very resistant to pesticides.
My friend the stink bug! Gosh, it's been ages since I've seen one. When I was little I pretended they were little turtles. I found them most often in the berry patch. They did no harm...
Pick it up with a tissue and toss it.
Looks like a blister bug to me. I am in Texas and if one stings you you get blisters around the bite.

Kin to stinky.
Permetherin.
I use soapy water in a spray bottle ... spay them and they will die and not harm the environment
Stink bugs invaded the Maryland area years ago but apparently do not harm you or anyone else. I had some inside this winter. Leave them alone and they won't do anything except crawl all over the house very slowly. I don't think there is really anything that will eradicate them except flushing down the toilet.
