Bruce used to sell a cleaner to remove the wax but it is no longer on the market. What can I use to remove years of built up wax on my floor without ruining the wood?

Go to a flooring store, they would know the most about what is available to clean off the wax build up without damaging the floor.

Sudsy ammonia. I believe this was used in the past to get wax off.
A hardware or flooring store will have the material you need to clean the floor of wax.
