Looking for ways to make homemade Quilt

I have some clothing items that belonged to my mother and I plan to make a quilt for my two daughters using them. Thousands of ideas.

I am not a quilter by any measure but I was able to make two crib sized rag quilts for gifts. I do not have the patience for an elaborately patterned quilt, but I do enjoy looking at them in amazement. Link attached with rag quilt instructions. I used a mix of flannel fabrics. There are thousands of free quilt patterns and instructions available out there, you just need to find one you want. You Tube also has countless free tutorials too.

Glad you like it. I made a crib size in a few hours. The investment in a cutting mat and rotary cutter made the cutting of squares go very fast. Enjoy your project!
