Cement landscaping pavers

Hi everyone,
My husband and I are avid gardeners. We bought a house three years ago and have not landscaped the front yard as of yet. This will be the year. The previous owners had used landscape pavers in EVERY garden bed. Now we have the daunting task of removing them all to make natural gardens. Any simple way of removing? They are two blocks deep all around, so into the dirt. Does anyone just use a shovel and pop out? Or maybe electric equipment to make it easier?

I used a pick
Started at the edge and worked my way inward. That's mostly because I have a hard time bending though and my pick has a long handle.
