Maybe a pond?

I have this rock area in my front yard and I just hate it! I need to do something with it. I have thought about putting a pond in the area but not sure how to have it lay out. Anyone have any suggestions? Maybe not a pond and something else. Prefer not a sitting area.

Go on Pinterest and search rock garden since you already have a base. There are tons of ideas to ‘cute’ up this area. Just pick one that appeals to you. If ypu really don’t want the rocks try mulch so it doesn’t blend much into the front of your house, giving it more POP! Also take a drive with the family to point out what everyone likes so it can be a work of love blended with everyones style!

hI think you would have to move the flag pole and put a pond in the same place. The flag pole would takeaway from the beauty of a pond.As far as mosquitos are concerned, you could get fish to eat any larvae. If you add a small fountain, that would keep the mosquitos away also. They do not like moving water.

Ponds are not as difficult as they look to set up. I think a curved pond with a water feature in the center would be perfect..! How tranquil would that be?! Sitting out on the front porch listening to the sound. The poll can easily be replaced on the right hand side with a poll affix to the House with a bracket. The only thing is the critters. If y’all don’t have them, you’ll be good. Go for it!

Do you have a picture of yours? I have a baby pool and thought about using that as the pond but I dk if it would be big enough.
