It was my grandfather's favorite flower. We have handed it down through generations. We call it the purple flower plant.
Anyone know what this is?
Just started growing. Had a bird feeder near by, maybe from that? Should I "leave it or pull it" ?
That looks like it might be a crab apple tree, we used to have one in our front yard. So, those may be crab apples.
Cut one open, if the core is spikey, it probably is a crab apple. The neighbor behind me has one and the canopy hangs over on my side. I pick them up just in case the puppy finds them. I like them, just use a knife to cut up first. Crabapple jelly is good too if you are into canning, which is what the neighbors do with them.
yummy! crab apple jelly...do pick up the fruit on the ground below the tree...bees like to get in on the action. trust me its no fun having a stinger in the bottom of your foot.
They are the size of marbles.
I think those are white plums, we had one in our backyard when I was a girl. Ripe when a creamy yellow color, lucky you, they're so sweet!!
Looks like gooseberries
Definitely white plums! Yummy!
