LVP pieces are made to be applied to the floor, not to walls. In my experience, knowing how difficult it is to try to adhere coverings intended for wall application, to walls, I would say the glue that LVP pieces comes with would not be strong enough to prevent slipping down, and coming off. Gravity is a strong force. Besides, there would be no way to add weight on top of the pieces to 'set' them, as done when they are applied to the floor. Walls are often not level or even, which adds further difficulty in trying to secure any flat pieces to the surface with glue only.
LVP is popular on walls, but you'll need to secure them to the wall studs. Construction adhesive won't do the job.
