What color to paint front door on brick house with yellow trimming ?

The door has been painted yellow for years and I would like to change the color, but do not know what color to paint it.

Red, Purple or stain. I like front doors that are a statement.
I would use the original color and make it darker, or go with a gel stain.
I would paint it any color you like and do the yellow window trim too, otherwise it might look unbalanced. My choice would be aqua.
What about a lovely blue/grey colour. Maybe your local paint shop could recommend a complimentary colour. What colour is the structure of the house?

A bird has built a nest behind my solar panel, how am i to get this nest down or do i have to wait until i find out if there are eggs in the nest ?
