Spiderwort, one of my favorite wildflowers!
Your plant's botanical name is Tradescantia; it has many varieties and the colours range from soft violet to brilliant blue. It likes sun and if you remove dead flowers, more flowers will grow. Hope this helps! SH in England
Spiderwort -- but can be VERY invasive!!! hard to control if it 'gets away' from you!

Thank you, Everyone. I kelp thinking it was pennywort, but when goggled it wasn't right. My Granny did call it spiderwort. Thanks again.
