Make flower Beds either side of the front door in an arc from the corner of the property to about 6' down the path, and fill with Roses or something pretty. Or Add Shutters and Window Boxes......
What a darling house! Clearly you like color from the trim on the windows. Here are some sites for you to review to see if they give you any ideas. I would certainly make use of the rock pile to form garden beds or tree rings.

Start small, it does not have to be done all at once. Do a small project each season or year. I would start with some sort of paver porch out front along with some shrubs or flower beds. Add some shepherds hooks, yard art and solar lights and expand and develop a different area each year or when budget allows.
Since you have a rock pile, I would start with some rock gardens.... here is some inspiration.... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6e3iYkBa1UI
I would put down ground cover first either black plastic or landscape cloth. Then you can add either succulents for a garden you only have to water once a month or do a garden of low growing ground covers.

I bought a few pansy bunches at Dollar Tree. Put styrofoam in terra cotta pots then pansies and put pots on the front steps - I don't have a porch as you do. It brightened up the entrance a bit. A nice wreath for front door would add some color as well.
It looks like You have natural path around the house and you can lay your rocks out along that perimeter and then add greenery close to the house and color on the outer edge! Line the driveway with some paper whites and daffodils and plant some blooming trees š³ like Bradfordās or golden rain trees that donāt grow past thirty feet (usually)! Best of luck!
You are welcome! Have fun! š
If you lack experience - "Knock Out" brand roses are relatively inexpensive, can be purchased at Walmart stores in the garden department or Lowes / Home Depot. Very easy to grow, and give you color most of the summer. I would put in a few of these. They would give you some shrubbery and some color.
I would start by putting a few shrubs in the front under the windows. Boxwoods are soft to the touch, grow slowly and easy to keep small and shaped pretty.
