What to do about this countertop wall?

Just got new counter tops, removed bar so it would open up space by removing stools. Painted and covered this one area with beadboard. Not the look I had hoped for.
Husband insisted we needed the electrical outlets... any ideas?
You can paint over the outlet covers to blend them in.
They are very oddly positioned. I probably would have moved them, but if that's not an option, then make it intentional. Put artistic outlet covers instead of the builder's grade standard. You can create and paint your own at a DIY ceramics shop.
