Easy Faux Reclaimed Wood Tabletop

Recently, I was in need of a reclaimed table/desk top for my studio. Being that I just didn't have the time to build one from wood (which I would normally do), I decided to go into my stash of contact paper.
As you can see, it turned out nice. I will admit that this is far from my first go with contact paper refinishing. I believe my first project (covering ugly countertops) was over 20 years ago. Thankfully, contact paper has come a long way since then, and nearly anyone can get a good result.
So, this is what I started out with. A nice piece of particleboard that is 30" wide by almost 5' long. Nothing special.
There are a few tricks to getting that perfect finish. Start with perfectly straight lines and avoid those dreaded air bubbles. I explain all my steps in my latest post. I just thought that I would share my results here with you all.
I hope that you will take the time to read through the whole post, and if you have any questions, I would be glad to help.
