Finishing out a new house

Lori Baker
by Lori Baker
I have begun looking for projects for getting a new house. I am going to be living in SC. I have lived in Michigan my whole life. Warmer weather, and being with my husband, he has been living there until we got married 11 years ago. So everything will be exciting and out of my element. So anything will be considered. I just found out I can share any projects and they will be in my favorites.

I would check Pintrest, they have alot of great decor ideas. Or if you have a style, shabby chic, farmhouse, what ever just google it and you will find more ideas. What a great time you are in for. And congratulations on the new house.

Wayfair.com was my best friend when I moved. They ship right to your door - for free.

  • Congratulations on your move and new home! Google and Pinterest, and of course, Hometalk, are your best friends. Save, pin, bookmark, anything that speaks to you, then you can edit out later. You may not have time to DIY everything, Home Goods is one of my favorite places for all kinds of household items. Down south your stores are T J Maxx / Home Goods. Be prepared for a bit of culture shock and give yourself some time to settle in. 🤗
