    Hi Ruth,

Use equal parts of white vinegar and hot water, and use a newspaper to clean it with. Works wonders!

If you can put it in the sink, put a towel along the bottom of the sink. Use warm water with a little bit of soap (I like dawn, it helps with built up grease and dust). Carefully wash with soft rags and rinse well. I let them air dry, but you can dry them if you want.

I use vinegar and water in a spray bottle with microfiber cloths for scrubbing and wiping. If you are talking about a container of old glass, denture cleaner helps clean the nooks and crannies.

Use Windex and newspaper and clean on a cloudy day. If this doesn't help, try straight 91% rubbing alcohol.

    Try using some denatured alcohol.
