Old Nightstand Becomes FunTroll Nightstand

This old nightstand was a throw away. Well there was no way I was going to allow it to go to waste! Can you imagine it as a fun new Troll? With a little paint and a lot of love it was turned into the cutest little Troll nightstand! Even the "eyes" light up. Here's how it was done:
First a good wash down and touch of light sanding.
Then an off-white base coat. Two coats were done and let them dry in between coats.
Remove the drawer and do the same. I just love the design in the front of this piece. It adds character.
Add some purple designs on the side. getting there..!
And a touch of flowers in the front which makes it look so cheerful.
Finally top it off with lights for eyes that will light up, a painted handle for the mouth, and furry hair on top. The fur was attached to 1/4 inch plywood. What child or grandchild would not love this table by their bed? I know many girls that would love it.
