Cleaning oven racks

I bring mine outside and spray with Easy off heavy duty grill cleaner

I do what Melissa does, and that along with some scrubbing gets them clean!

Somebody told me that submerging oven racks in hot water in bathtub and covering with softener sheets does an amazing job cleaning them. Has anyone used this method. She told me she got this idea from Hometalk.

Place them in a garbage bag and spray with oven cleaner. Let sit over nite. Scrub and hose off the next day

For standard cleaning, use a soapy sponge and hot water to wipe the racks. For stubborn messes, soak oven racks in hot water, dish soap, and a couple scoops of baking soda. Let the racks soak in this mixture for 15 to 30 minutes before scrubbing clean with a soft sponge.
