I've asked several people but no one knows what I am talking about. I have tall thin windows/glass (approx 66" tall and 8" wide) on each side of my front door. I had them covered by blinds but the blinds did not withstand my curious dog. What I am looking for is some kind of frosted textured adhesive to put on the glass; OR if they make a frosted textured glass that I can replace my plain see through windows with that would be great too. Does anyone out there know if they even make what I am looking for?

yes! I bought my rolls at Lowe’s for about $14 a roll! It did 12 small windows on my French doors in the dining room

Another option is to frost the glass yourself. Any home improvement store or craft store has supplies. Or replace the glass in the windows with an opaque design - your local glass and mirror shop should be able to help you. Or call a local window manufacturer to custom retrofit your current windows.

I've seen 'frosted clings' at the hardware, michaels and joanns. Might have even seen some in Meijers. They can be cut to size and just stick on the window.
Contact do a few designs that should suit you or you could use Slings that just peel off if you want a change........

Those windows are called "sidelight windows". You can get clear textured / patterned contact paper. Also consider Batiste or lace curtains - which let light in,but you cannot see thru them. Batiste / lace curtains are what was traditionally used for side light curtains before the blind craze stared 20 years back. Use small cylindrical curtain rods . see below.
You can cut plastic window film to fit. Most have a "frosted" finish that would look really nice. (and it is dog-proof!)
Yes, as someone said contact paper. But, you know the dog is goint to scratch that, too.

I think what you are looking for is called window film. I found various listings for it at Walmart, Home Depot, Lowe's, and Bed, Bath and Beyond. All of them are peel and stick onto existing windows, some semi clear to continue to let some light in but add privacy. I use it on the "garden window" that is over our bath tub of all places!
