I recently came upon a great way to remove labels from wine bottles: fill the bottle with very hot tap water, and let sit for around 5 minutes. Using a blade ease up one corner and gently pull the label off. I like to save the label of wines I have enjoyed so when I go to the market, I just pull them out of my purse.

Soak them in hot soapy water, then scrape them off. Or use Goo-Gone. Cover the label, wait twenty minutes, scrape the labels off, and wash the jars. ☺️

I have found that sprinkling baking soda on the glue residue helps clean it off.

WD40, GooGone, cooking oil, vinegar and water, rubbing alcohol or soaking in hot soapy water work for me. Depends on the glue. Don't spray GooGone in the house unless you have great ventilation! Good luck!

Baking soda with some oil, or could try fingernail polish remover. It depends on the glue used on the glass jar, some are easier than others.

Soak them with hot soapy water. That should get most of it off pretty easily. Then use GooGone.
