There are multiple uses for them if you cover them with contact paper or fabric. Also, some people use them to organize and gather multiple chords behind their entertainment centers or computer centers. Others decorate with them by cutting them in sections, smashing the circle to an oval, and gluing them to make flowers. Some people use them to wrap yarn around to have the yarn come off like a t.p.roll of paper as they crochet or knit. All they add is a dowel in the middle and put the dowel through a plastic bottle or other container to control it.
