My Uncle and Aunt used some broken ones to make a grout and mosaic top to an old table. Another idea might be something similar glued on terra cotta planters to decorate them. Put the bottles in strong bags before breaking the with a hammer to prevent glass from flying. Use protection goggles anyway. Some people use them whole to glue them together to make little night stands and place a round board over the top. Hope this helps to get you started.
