Fabric ceiling in my car

the fabric has fallen and blocking my rear view mirror. I tried doublue sided tape but it didn’t work. I’m open to suggestion.

When this happened in my 70 Cougar, I used furniture tacks that are spiral (screw into something).
We had my husbands headliner in his truck replaced by a local specialist and it only cost $150.

I’ve had luck with spray adhesive
Years ago we could not afford the have it done professionally so I bought 3 strips of flexable metal the width of the roof plus a bit. (stiff plastic should work too) I put against the roof, bowing it to hold the fabric and sliding it under the edge of the window trim. Worked great and cost less than $5

I found these recently when looking for something to hold my bed skirt in place. comments say they work great for exactly what you need. (wish I'd known about them sooner because my exbf was fed up with mine sagging apparently, so he just cut it all out!)
