Place a wooden shelf across the damaged area disguise the defect, making it the bottom of the mirror.

Option two —get glass paint and paint a similar floral leaf shape in opaque milky tones to disquise the defect on the glass. Or possibly paint same shape on thin plastic or balsa wood to apply to cover the defect.

GO to Walmart & buy some Liquid Glass. It's in the craft/floral department. It comes in little boxes on the shelf. Use some masking tape & tape the outside edges of the crack. Mix it up & use a toothpick to delicately fill in the crack. Be careful NOT to get it on the mirror face but only INSIDE the crack. Once filled, remove the tape slowly & gently while it's still wet & let your mirror sit overnight to dry completely.

FIRST... you need to support the glass .. back it with thin luan or plywood and a good glue like Gorilla glue... you could have a wood frame made for it... or use a wreath, add a shelf, or use a stencil made from the existing pattern (stencil material and electric stencil cutter, Aleene's repositionable glue from Hobby Lobby) then use "frosted look" spray paint to disguise the crackled area. or just park a flower arrangement in front of it.

I covered my broken mirror with a sheet and gently smashed it up into small pieces with a hammer. I then used flexible pool glue and mosaiced the pieces onto a exterior grade acrylic sheet leaving a border and hung it in the garden in a shady spot to bring light.

I would buy some flat glass beads in the same color as the flower. Then I would glue them on using gorilla glue.

    Hello Linda,

Secure on rear, then use a Sharpie pen to outline some more shapes to mirror the design above and then colour them in with Acrylic Art Paint or nail Varnish. Hope that helps.
