Shabby 'faux' Patchwork

Patchwork is so perfect for the shabby, cottage look… but it can be quite time consuming to make… and what if you can’t sew!
Well, I’m going to share with you a secret way to get this gorgeous look without all the hard work.
I call it ‘faux’ patchwork.
Don’t worry if you only have very basic sewing skills… trust me, you’ll be able to pull this off.
For those of you who can sew, you can add other gorgeous embellishments like I did with this sweet embroidered doily.
Get the easy to follow instructions on my blog.

A 'faux' patchwork cushion that will fool even seasoned sewers!
Gather small off-cuts of fabrics.... such a great way to use up all those left overs!
Stitch it all together with my easy 'faux patchwork' technique.
Add a pretty embroidered doily.... and there you have it. A gorgeous patchwork cushion without all the sewing that's usually required.
