Uses for bicycle rims?

A few ideas:

plant vines, bury bottom of tire and allow vines to grow.

Intertwine twinkle lights and hang on wall or in trees for fun lighting

hang over a table, wired like a chandelier

spray with metallic paint (different color for each wheel) mount to wall in a pattern

You could use them as a wreath. You can change up the design with the seasons. So fun!
