Cat Corner Makeover

If you have been a long time reader of my blog, you know how I love room makeovers.
But today I thought why not do something completely different and give my little Cat a Fun Corner Makeover.
So we have designated a corner of an extra room we have and right now it did not seem that cheerful and fun.
I had been wanting to give it a makeover for a very long time but it kept on being delayed. But today was the day and she finally got one.
Lets start with how it looked Before
As I said earlier it was very Empty.
I clearly was not joking when I said that!
Her litter box and her food bowl was in one corner and then a few toys that she likes to play with thrown around.
I created a DIY Cat Box.
I simply cut out a Rough sketch of a Cat face out of an empty box.
It would be way easier if you have a Box Cutter on hand which I did not at that time and had to resort to using my X-Acto Knife.
It wasn’t the best choice but it somewhat got the job done.
Almost!
I gave the box a few coats of the white paint and then painted colorful shapes all over using a combination of Pink, Blue, Green and Yellow paints.
For the top part of the box I wanted to make it a soft furry place for my cat to sit on.
I had leftover fabric from a bench project that I did earlier (which you guys will see pretty soon) and placed it on top of the box.
As for the inside of the box I kept a white throw pillow so it was comfortable.
And this was the final result.

I'm curious about the litter box. Did you make it? Buy it?
