I need some creative DIY shade solutions please

Have you thought about shade sails? They could be great fun colorful , or not. But you have enough framework to attach them to.

try a large sail suspended between patio posts on either side of the pool

i just made pergola shades with painters canvas from Harbor Freight.. These are around $16 . might fit your frames

I would get a tarp or two and attach them at the worst areas, even if that is directly overhead. If you can attach pulley systems, you can open the pool up to the sky at night. Remember: overexposing your skin now may mean carcinoma later, but sooner than you think. ☺️

Most of the large home improvement stores carry "shade cloth" in the garden department... sold by the piece (15 feet or so) or by the foot... it comes in several colors... we prefer the tan... they also sell grommet kits. We live in AZ and have found that the shade cloth makes a HUGE difference... gives filtered shade and lets the breeze thru.... the material can be doubled for a deeper shade.... if you can sew... a regular home sewing machine will work fine... I would suggest a UV treated thread (upholstery supply).

it looks like it it not what to put up but how.. I used large eye hooks and caribiners after putting grommets on it..

About those shade sails, there are companies that you can order them from that will also install them for you, so if you can't do it yourself (I would not be able to do it for myself or even with a helper, that's for sure!), that could be an option. You may also be able to find a service that does such installations through Home Advisors or similar service in your area, and you can compare fees. If you get the shade sails through a big box store, the store might also be able to provide you with an estimate from a store-recommended installer or installers. It doesn't hurt to ask.
