How can I get pavers to stop falling apart and permanetly stay put

Sorry but we haven't had a problem with this. Is the ground you are putting them on level and packed well?

How were they installed? Photo?

What are the pavers made from, and how were they installed? Generally you remove sod, dig down about 3-4" add a layer of decomposed granite, landscape fabric, sand, then pavers, leveling as you go. Then lock in place with polymetric sand, sweep into all the seams, and then wet down.

Ive been reading a number of threads, and the most consistent is that an “edge“, brick or half-sized pavers, or plastic, needs to literally be glued down to restrain movement of the pavers.

Well, you’ll have to clear up the old stuff. HD sells edging to keep your pavers in place. It’s glued to the initial cement surface. Or you can use half blocks or rocks or whatever. Like tray edges to keep stuff from sliding off. When thats done, you’ll clear out the trash grouting. HD and others carry an epoxy sand resin, which “freezes” the sand, etc grout. Remember that you’ve stabilized the movement of the pavers, so they won’t shift to mess this up.
