What are ideas to hide air vent pipes off of septic lines

    I made a garden around mine and covered up the vents with fake rocks. That way you can access them if needed but otherwise you never know they are there.

    I would not advise painting with anything the same color as your yard. The pipes can be missed by someone mowing grass or backing a car up. Best to plant a bush giving plenty of room for a septic person to do work. Septic tanks don't usually have air vents. They are closed systems. However it may be a capped clean out pipe.

      Thank you for the warning--wouldn't want to have something break it off because it was not seen. I think you are right on the terminology-- I think I've been trying to describe a capped clean out pipe. The ones in my back yard are aqua-colored with a white cap.
