Potato's yes check out pintrest. Corn needs lots of room & need to feed off each other.

A plow usually turns the soil only about 5-6 inches...that is why you build up rows...it gives an extra few inches of soft soil for the plant to get started. You can build rows/hills in your container garden.

Try this and let us know how it works out for you. The fun of gardening is trying out new things. Just put in a few "hills" of corn and see what happens.

Corn plants are spaced about 6 inches apart. There are variety’s for container planting. Smaller in stature but will give sweet corn.

Both can be done, potatoes will do well, for sure.

The corn needs enough room to not overcrowd as it grows, space about 12" apart. Plant 2 seeds per hole in case 1 does not germinate, if 2 stalks grow, cut off the smaller 1, do not pull them out, it could damage the root structure of the remaining one.

They also have species of corn for small spaces, but plant enough to have a good sized crop, corn need that to grow and cross pollinate.

Keep the soil moist and not soggy.

Actually, to get a good crop of potatoes, as the plant grows, pile compost around the plant leaving only the tops showing, potatoes will grow in what you have covered. I've seen potatoes grown in tires. As the plant grows, another tire with soil was added. Lots of potatoes from one plant. Rather than planting potatoes, look up 3 Sister Planting. You'll get more produce from your raised bed. Actually, for good pollination, corn needs to be planted in rows of 3 at a minimum.

Forgot to add that you need to make sure your tall corn plants do not shade the potato plants.
