Plain white toothpaste often works. Same instructions: put a small amount on the ring and work in with your finger; let set for a few minutes and buff with clean cloth. it has worked for me many times (until I finally got all the boys trained to use coasters!).
Restore-A-Finish. I have used many times. Wipe on with a soft cloth in direction of wood grain. Wipe off wit a 2nd cloth. Comes in colors to match most woods. About $9.00 a can.

MR ERASER took them off my oak table. JUST ERASE AND BUFF with a soft cloth
