I have used Terro products. I use the indoor variety. But last year I also got their outdoor stakes to put outside near where I thought they were coming in. Worked great.

Cucumber peelings. It really works I think it’s the smell of the cucumber but if I see an ant I peel a cucumber and leave peelings on the countertops. I have used Terro but It doesn’t work on all types of ants.

We use Terrio......but also... diatomateous earth...non toxic. I use a cosmetic brush and brush on the floor boards. My neighbor throws it against his foundation outside. It works great too. I don’t mind the powdery look,I can use it where I can’t use the Terri traps, which work very well. I will have to check using outdoor terro. 😬 I googled the dia earth..

The Terro is a great product and we use it seasonally as soon as the kitchen ants appear. Place a drops on the card provided, they ingest it and take it back to the colonies. You may have to have several applications.

We also use it when we see a parade of ants crossing our deck.

they are coming in from outside, we have had success using the outside ant baits Placed around perimete. We have different kinds of ants( red, black, carpenter) there are two kinds Of baits, One appeals to ants needing sugar and one appeals to ants needing protein. We use both. It works and they don’t come in the house

I use diatomaceous earth food grade. It is amazing! I have a small dog and using the DE is worry free. Downside is reapplication after every Spring rainstorm but it’s a small price to pay. I use inside as well in spots where I actually see the coming in.

CONSIDER MIXING BORAX, WHITE SUGAR AND ICING SUGAR [50,25,25%] AND SPRINKLE ANYWHERE INSIDE OR OUT. THEY WILL TAKE IT HOME AND COLONY MAY FADE AWAY. PROBABLY ANT FREE AFTER THAT. THIS YEAR

WE USED A SMALL SPICE BOTTLE [TRY SALT SHAKER] TO SPRINKLE A FEW SPOONS FULL AROUND.
