Any standard carpet cleaner, there is a variety on the market for any budget and purpose with adapters for carpeted areas in homes, on stairs, vehicles, and on furniture.
i never found one of the supermarket rentals to work. Then I was paying $100+ for cleaners to come. Finaxlly, adter researching Consumer Reports, I bought the best rug cleaner listed (it was a Hoover) for $200. And works as well as the pros. It pays for itself pretty quickly.
Take it outside on driveway. I used a power washer and it came out great
