i bought it off the clearance rack for $2.35 many years ago. It was one little stump with a few leaves. It hits the ceiling now. I live in NC so I don’t think I can plant it outside.

I call it a "corn tree" Mine started out tiny and grew to over 16 feet! Luckily our ceiling is 18 feet. I had to achor it to the wall as it grew, but I worried about it falling over. Since I live in southern Arizona, I knew it wouldn't live outside in our heat and ended up cutting it down. 😢 Good luck

I know it as a corn plant. I put it outside on my porch in summer but bring it in for winter. No direct sun.

The sun room was a DIY project from a few years back. Lowe’s had sliding glass doors on sale and we had a 50 ft front porch. We did end up putting some composite fencing on the inside for insurance rea.

It's a Dracena Margenata, also known as Madagascar Dragon Tree, was favored by people who wanted an Asian, modern or architectural feel. As a floor plant, this one grows with a lot of cane (or trunk) and you can find it in many interesting forms.
